The Wildfire Pro GTX is a low-cut tech approach shoe for mountain professionals. As the latest evolution of our successful Wildfire, it includes innovative features to offer a single solution you can trust in when your hike becomes a climb or your climb involves a hike.
Designed for approaches, technical hiking and rocky mountain paths, the Wildfire Pro GTX offers excellent climbing performance thanks to its Vibram™ Tech Approach EVO outsole with Megagrip compound – a high-performance, sticky but durable rubber compound also used in rock shoes that gives 25% more traction.
Patented SALEWA technologies ensure a precise fit: Exa Shell grid structure and Overlap Tongue work together to firmly wrap the foot; Climbing Lacing extends right to the toe for a more precise fit; 3F System for firm ankle and heel support.
Finally the suede leather upper gives additional protection while the Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+) uses interchangeable layers so you can adapt it to the unique shape of your foot, enabling SALEWA’s trademark Alpine Fit 100% blister free guarantee. The GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort lining provides waterproof and breathable protection.
